Bought this for my son, who is learning to code. He had the ultrasonic sensor measuring distance the same afternoon. The USB cable and the 830-point breadboard were in the box.
The UNO R3 board connected with the USB cable and showed up once I selected Arduino UNO in the Arduino IDE. The breadboard and jumper wires are in the kit.
The stepper motor and ULN2003 driver board are in the kit, and the LCD1602 is useful on the bench. I select Arduino UNO in the Arduino IDE.
The DHT11, the sound module and the ultrasonic sensor are all in the kit. I started on the 830-point breadboard.
The kit includes the SG90 servo, a stepper motor and the 830-point breadboard, so the first projects stay on the breadboard.
I used the DHT11 and the 5V relay from the kit. The LCD1602 needed an extra library in the Arduino IDE, which is normal for that display.
Getting Started
- Download and install the official Arduino IDE software on your Windows, Mac, or Linux computer.
- Connect the LAFVIN UNO R3 board to the computer with the USB cable from the kit.
- In the Arduino IDE, open a new sketch. The board in the kit is a UNO R3 with a CH340 USB chip.
- Push the parts into the 830-point breadboard with the jumper wires.
- In the Arduino IDE, select Arduino UNO, then upload the sketch.
- Watch your first circuit come to life, then progress to the next exciting project!
